Happy Wednesday everyone! As the holiday season approaching, today we would love to share a few things about having a family video.
Should you have a family video?
As family photo is getting more and more trendy nowadays, have you asked the question yourself “Should I have a family video”? We believe that every family should have one or more family videos. Comparing to having only photos, why not add a video to your family tradition? A well-edited video can bring you back to those treasurable memories with beautiful visuals and sounds. For example, when your little baby giggles for the first time, would you take a photo of it or record a video? I’m sure the answer is both. During this special season of a special year, it’s the best time for you to start thinking about having a family video!
What to bring to a family video session?
It’s always fun to bring along props. We think every family is special! Why not bring things you love? Examples: toys, books, signs, picnic basket and blanket. Anything that represent your family!
Not a props person? That’s okay! We can use the various “natural props” - trees and fences, hats and scarves, families on bicycles, gigantic mural backdrops!
What should I wear for a family video session?
We love both soft colors and bright colors. From our experience girls can never go wrong with a flowy dress. It's always fun to capture the movement of the dress. Remember we are going for a romantic style short film and it's great when even your wardrobe can help express your family story!

Milestone Video: This will be a customized video. It can be a video with all your “first” memories! The first night with your newborn, the first time bring baby home, the first smile of your baby, the first standing up, the first time tasting a lemon… with all these and some other beautiful scenes we will capture for you, this will be your first family video!
Birthday Video: This will be a documentary video. We will capture all the best moments of the party and edit them into a beautiful highlight video. Years later, you will look back and be glad that you made a great decision!
Retirement Party Video: After all the achievements you’ve made at work, it’s time to celebrate with a party! All those dancing, all those toasts, all those moments… Having a video is the best way to foreverize them.
